Uzun yıllardır çalıştığı İlyas Tetik’in ani vefatıyla sarsılan Muazzez Ersoy, TRT Müzik’teki bayram çekimleri boyunca yaşadığı acıyı yansıtmamaya özen gösterdi ve sanatçının bestelerine de programda yer verdi.
Ersoy, hislerini şöyle dile getirdi: “Sevgisiyle ve anısıyla daimi olarak bizlerle yaşayacak değerli üstadımız İlyas Tetik, seni unutmayacağız. Kalbimizde her zaman yerin ve sevgin olacak. Sen bizlerle yaşayacaksın.”
