AKRON, Ohio A female suspect is in custody after a woman was stabbed to death early Wednesday morning in the West Akron neighborhood. Police were called just after midnight to a residence on the 1100 block of Nome Avenue, which is between Interstate 77 and South Hawkins Avenue, south of Copley Road. BATH TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash on West Bath Road at Ghent Hills Road in Bath Township that killed a 19-year-old Akron man and injured two others on Friday.
Lt. Cliffton D. Dowell said a black 2017 Volkswagen Golf hatchback driven by 19-year-old Nicholas Kuchar of Akron was heading east on Bath Road at 6:02 p.m.
A gray 2018 Toyota Camry turned west onto West Bath Road from Ghent Hills Road and was struck by the Volkswagen, according to Lt. Dowell.
