Doha: To curb the spread of pandemic, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) and Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) have announced measures for limiting the chances of interaction to maintain social distancing.
This came following the decision issued by the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management to reimpose some restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
The MADLSA has reduced the capacity of visitors to 30 percent to its buildings and Government Services Complexes.
In a joint press conference by the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management, announced the four-tier plan to reimpose COVID-19 restrictions.
Qatar has previously managed to stabilize the pandemic, however, the past few weeks have seen a rising number of cases indicating a possible second wave of COVID-19, said Dr. Abdullatif Al Khal, Chair of the National Health Strategic Group on COVID-19 and Head of Infectious Diseases at Hamad Medical Corporation.
