A well-known apartment complex on the outskirts of UConn’s Storrs campus has sold for $11.2 million, town records show.
The Carriage House Townhomes at 183 Huntington Lodge/20 Carriage House Drive in the Storrs section of Mansfield sold in March. It has 65 units and 129 beds, records show.
The buyer was Stamford-based Collegiate Quarters Management LLC, which is an owner, operator and developer of student housing, according to its website.
The seller was Carriage House Storrs LLC, which is controlled by Hagan Brown, who is the president of Avon real estate investment and management firm Corridor.
Westfield Bank provided an $8.4 million mortgage to the buyer, town records show. The apartments last sold in 2012 for $11 million.
