Gloucester’s Boots will be one of three sites in England that will offer Coronavirus vaccinations. Boots has said that the Covid vaccination services in Gloucester will start from early January 2021. Boots in Gloucester will be one of only three of the company’s sites offering Covid-19 vaccinations, from early January 2021. The pharmacist and health and beauty retailer has said that it will be offering vaccination services at sites in England which initially include Gloucester’s branch on Eastgate Street, as well as Halifax and Huddersfield. A Boots UK spokesperson said: ‘At Boots, we are proud of our role at the heart of UK healthcare and we can confirm that, together with the local clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), Boots will initially open three Covid-19 vaccination sites, based in Halifax, Huddersfield and Gloucester. They will begin vaccinating patients in early January.
