By Sam Rosalie Jun 1, 2021 Today’s Feel Goods if from Tori Matthews who told me about Mario Pacheco, who is a fifth-grader in Arkansas. Mario loves school, he loves his classmates, and as I’m sure we all remember, the year book is a really important, to say goodbye to all that for the summer. But Mario is blind, and so his mother stopped buying the yearbook for him because they are all printed on really smooth glossy paper. HOWEVER, this year a group of students and one teacher decided to surprise him! They worked for about four months, to gift Mario a braille yearbook!

Friday morning on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show we had a caller named Adam on-air with us. Adam is a computer teacher from St. Louis, MO and is in the middle of getting ready for his last day of school. Although he is sad the school year is over he is proud to celebrate that they were teaching in person for 175 days and never had to go virtual! After hearing from Adam we decided to join Norwegian Cruise Line and gift a cruise to this well deserving teacher! Norwegian Cruise Line wants you to nominate or vote for a month long teacher appreciation by giving joy to educators across the US and Canada. The concept of what they re doing below!
