Apex Legends Update 1.67 (Today, May 4) - Season 9 Patch Notes
Finally, Season 9 is here.
Apex Legends update 1.67 is now available for download across all platforms and it weighs around 30 GB, which could a bit more or less depending on your platform.
Apex Legends Season 9 is finally available for all players. Introducing the brand new Arenas mode, along with Valkyrie as the new Legend, this season kicks off today with a heavy update.
Aside from what mentioned above, a new Battle Pass with unique cosmetics items has also hit the game with the Apex Legends update 1.67. For more information about the update, including new weapons, map changes, and character balance, you can check out the official patch notes down below:
Learn how to control this tricky airborne Legend
The roster of characters is expanding to a whopping 17 with Apex Legends Season 9, which introduces Kairi ‘Valkyrie’ Imahara to the battle royale game. Valkyrie is the daughter of Titanfall 2 antagonist, Viper, one of Kuben Blisk’s Apex Predator pilots. Unfortunately, Valkyrie doesn’t get to use Viper’s Northstar titan, but she does have something no other Legend has: VTOL Jets.
Valkyrie has been designed around her ability to fly, unlocking unique abilities while skydiving. Using her visor, Valkyrie is able to locate nearby enemies similar to Bloodhound’s Eye of the Allfather ability. It’s not all sunshine and roses, however, as Valkyrie is extremely vulnerable while flying. With the addition of a brand new Bocek bow to the game, players will be looking for any opportunity they can get to snipe any unarmed flying objects.

What time is Apex Legends Season 9 update?
The Apex Legends Legacy update will go live on
Tuesday, May 4, at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM BST.
PlayStation players can already pre-load the update on your console to be ready for Season 9, but other platforms (PC, Xbox, and Switch) will need to wait until update time to start the download.

New Weapon: 30-30 Repeater
This heavy ammo lever-action repeater boasts hard-hitting rounds that’ll nail a fleeing Mirage at 200 paces.
The 30-30 is the benchmark for reliability, designed to withstand whipping sandstorms and temporal instability, which made it an obvious choice for the Apex Games.
DISCIPLINED TRIGGER FINGER
The 30-30 Repeater requires the user to rechamber their rounds between shots which brings a methodic rhythm to the rifle, an analogue elegance that the modern weapons of the Outlands just can’t quite capture.
To further tempt those itchy trigger fingers, the 30-30 Repeater has a built-in charge giving players an opportunity to deal increased damage with each shot at the cost of a short build-up.
