Travis Etienne is headed to the NFL.
The former Jennings High star and Clemson record-setting running back was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the No. 25 overall pick in Thursday night’s NFL Draft.
Etienne is reunited with his college quarterback Trevor Lawrence who the Jaguars selected with the No. 1 overall pick.
The 5-foot-10, 215-pound Etienne had one of the most prolific careers in Clemson and ACC history.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - District Attorney Hillar Mooreâs office has dropped even more drug cases tied directly to potential corruption within the narcotics division with BRPD.
Last month, 640 cases were dropped by the office, ranging from possession to weapons charges dating back as far as to 2015. All of those cases that were dropped were handled by officers Jeremiah Ardoin and Jason Acree. Both men were charged after departmental investigations seemed to expose corruption within the agency. Now 72 additional cases have been dropped by the DAâs office. Those include cases that date back to as far as 2017 and involved cases as recent as January 2021. As they plot two additional riverfront towers in Manchester, two local developers have offloaded their first major addition to the neighborhood’s skyline for nearly $50 million.
Guy Blundon and Mark Purcell this week sold River’s Edge, a 10-story, 213-unit apartment tower at 505 Porter St., for $47.5 million, city property records show.
The tower’s new owner is Four Mile Capital, a five-year-old real estate investment firm based in Denver. Per its website, Four Mile exclusively targets multifamily buildings and has over 20,000 units under management across the country.
