Wooster teams place in Academic Challenge competition

Thirteen sixth-grade teams participate
On May 11, sixth-grade teams competed. Thirteen teams from Colonel Crawford, Crestview, Lexington, Northmor, Mansfield’s Spanish Immersion and Wooster participated.
Wooster’s A team with Tim Michel, Nick Kakanuru, Jill Hostetler and Olivia Kelly won the meet. The second place team was Crestview’s A team made up of Hudson Stacy, Drew Ramsey, Jess Ames and Wyatt Love.
Seventh- and eighth-grade contest has 22 teams
Then, on May 12, twenty-two teams from Ashland, Colonel Crawford, Crestview, Lexington, Madison, Mansfield Middle, Northmor, Ontario, Plymouth-Shiloh, Mansfield City’s Spanish Immersion, Shelby and Wooster participated in the seventh/eighth grade Academic Challenge.

But studies in recent years suggest that the sugar-laden and high-fat foods we often crave when we are stressed or depressed, as comforting as they may seem, are the least likely to benefit our mental health. Instead, whole foods such as vegetables, fruit, fish, eggs, nuts and seeds, beans and legumes and fermented foods like yogurt may be a better bet.
