Black Lives Matter and Antifa spoke out against Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler’s call to ‘unmask’ violent protesters. Hours after the mayor’s comments, another riot broke out in the city.
“We must stand together as a community against this ongoing criminal intimidation and violence,” Mayor Wheeler said on Friday. “Our job is to unmask them, arrest them, and prosecute them.”
“People know who these criminals are,” Wheeler continued.
A few hours later, violence broke out again in Portland following a social media post calling for demonstrators to “Bloc Up,” a reference to the Antifa “uniform” of all black clothing, masks, and helmets, Breitbart News reported.

Portland Police Bureau officials declared an “Autonomous Demonstration” to be a riot after protesters began vandalizing businesses and forcing their way into an occupied restaurant.
A social media post called for an “Autonomous Demonstration” at Couch Park in Portland, Oregon, on Friday night. The post called for demonstrators to “Bloc Up” a call to wear black bloc to “make it difficult for police to identify lawbreakers,” police officials stated.

Mayor Ted Wheeler allowed Antifa to run wild last year in Portland.
But since the beginning of the year, he’s declared war on them, actually calling them out by name and blowing apart the Democratic narrative that they were “just an idea” and not an organized group. He knows, firsthand, how wrong that is. They came to his home last year and set a fire in the business on the first floor of his condo building. They’ve continued to riot without end.
According to Fox News, last night, a group of about 75 people dressed all in black were at it again, smashing their way through the northwest part of the city, smashing windows and breaking into a restaurant. They even threw a rock at the home of a resident who dared to film what they were doing. Police declared a riot for what seems like the umpteenth time, at this point.
