Hi, I m Brutus.
I m a 2 year-old Pittie mix. I was found in pretty bad shape, but thanks to I Stand With My Pack, I m feeling a lot better now. I m about 60 pounds, and I get along with large and small dogs.
I spent several weeks with an awesome trainer and I m now house-broken and crate trained!
My friends say I m an awesome dog and that will do well in most homes.

I thought it best that Luna today tells you her own story:
My name is Luna!
In my past life I produced two litters of puppies for my owner to sell, but then was dumped in a field where my rescuers found me! While staying with my rescuer they discovered I was expecting more puppies (oops!).
This was much more than my rescuer could manage so they asked POPP for help. I had 9 healthy puppies and they are my last (yay!) litter. Now I get to be someone s best friend!

Acushnet Dog in Need of a Family [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
If I could adopt every adoptable animal on the SouthCoast, I would, but I don’t think my little apartment or bank account would allow for that, so that’s why I continue my mission with “Wet Nose Wednesday.” Each week, an adoptable pet gets the spotlight in hopes of finding their forever home, and this week, the spotlight goes to Sheba the Yorkie mix from Care SouthCoast in Acushnet.
The first thing I noticed about Sheba was her precious eyes. Her face is just full of love and I have a feeling she’s quite the character. Her story, however, begins on a sad note.
