Wiltshire Council’s budget for 2021/22 was agreed and signed off at a meeting of Full Council on Tuesday, with details of how it will overcome the challenges brought on by the pandemic – including setting aside a £4m fund over four years to support market towns recovery from the pandemic. Council tax will go up by 1.99 per cent, and a three per cent council tax levy specifically for Adult Social Care was also agreed. The £4m fund set aside to help market towns recover is made up of £1m a year for the next four years.
