The musician added, I ve never made it past the ten minute mark. You re welcome. And thanks Russell, before tagging the actor so that he would see the tweet.
Confrontational: McNabb instigated the conflict with a quarantine-themed takedown of Master And Commander, but he tagged Crowe to ensure he would see it
Big fan: Crowe defended the film by commending its cinematography, majestic soundtrack, and director Peter Weir That s the problem with kids these days. No focus, Crowe wrote, though McNabb is four years older than him.
The actor shared some specifics about what made the film not only compelling, but beautiful to watch.
is a movie without any Iron Men or wars in the stars (though it does have Paul Bettany, who is friends with Iron Man and was in a
Star Wars), but don’t let star Russell Crowe hear you calling it a boring movie. That’s what happened to Twitter user Ian McNabb yesterday, when Crowe discovered a Tweet that he had posted earlier this month in which he suggested that
Master And Commander a movie about old-fashioned sailors having old-fashioned sea-battles is a good way to put yourself to sleep. McNabb, an English musician and former frontman of The Icicle Works (and someone who just shouldn’t be on Twitter today, for unrelated reasons), said that he couldn’t get past the first 10 minutes and then inexplicably tagged Crowe, just in case he wanted to read a snide comment about a movie he made nearly 20 years ago.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World from a critic who called it an effective sleep aid. Lots of folk complaining about lack of sleep during the Pandemic. May I recommend
Master And Commander starring the usually captivating, attention-grabbing Russell Crowe. I ve never made it past the ten minute mark. You re welcome. And thanks Russell. @russellcrowe, film critic Ian McNabb tweeted earlier this month.
Graham Kelly scores Larne’s first goal
McDaid provided an assist and scored one on a glorious night for owner Kenny Bruce, manager Lynch and their team, but the striker should not have been on the pitch when he delivered those match defining moments.
He clearly ought to have been sent off early on following his shocking foul on Blues skipper Mulgrew. Referee Ian McNabb was in a good position to see the incident yet somehow managed to miss what was a nasty high challenge.
It was a red card all night long.
Given that another Irish League official, Jamie Robinson, reversed a decision days after Linfield s league game with Glenavon last month, which saw Blues striker Christy Manzinga being handed a three- match ban by the Irish FA, one wonders will referee McNabb feel he should do the same following last might s decision.
