Dublin, CA – Two suspects were arrested on a murder warrant Tuesday (April 27) during the investigation of Bay Area native Lil Yase who was shot and killed in November 2020. Although the motive in the killing remains to be determined, there is an alleged love connection among the three people in the case.
According to KTVU, Dublin police officers booked Jovante Williams and Angel Butler, both 28, who were taken to Santa Rita Jail for their alleged roles in the shooting of the 26-year-old San Francisco-bred “Who Is He” rapper (born Mark Alexander Antonyyo, Jr).

Dublin police announced Wednesday morning that a local couple were arrested this week in connection with the murder of rising San Francisco rapper Lil Yase last November.

Angel Butler and Jovante Williams both 28 years old were taken into custody on arrest warrants Tuesday as the prime suspects in the homicide after a nearly five-month investigation, according to Dublin police Capt. Nate Schmidt.
Police are still working to determine a motive, but electronic and DNA evidence, along with a dying declaration from Lil Yase, helped lead to Butler and Williams being identified as the suspects, Schmidt told the Weekly.

LIVERMORE, Calif. - One person was killed and another injured on Saturday morning when the minivan they were riding in went through a guardrail on westbound I-580 in the rural Altamont Pass and rolled at least 100 feet down an embankment, authorities said.
A passenger who was not wearing a seatbelt, according to CHP spokesman Tyler Hahn, was ejected from the car and transported by air to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.

A Hondy Odyssey minivan reportedly went off of the roadway and slid down a hillside along westbound I-580 just west of North Flynn Road, CHP officer Tyler Hahn told Patch.
One person, who appeared to not be wearing a seatbelt, was airlifted to Eden Medical Center with major injuries, Hahn said. The other party remained in the vehicle. There was no information on the condition of this person.
