Secretary of the Ayodhya Mosque Trust, Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF) Athar Husain said Owaisi was a politician from Hyderabad and his remarks were a part of his political agenda.

The Ayodhya Mosque Trust on Thursday criticised AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi for his statement in Bidar, Karnataka, that the Ayodhya mosque being built on the 5-acre land was haraam or un-Islamic.

Lucknow: The construction work of the much-awaited Dhannipur mosque project will finally begin in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh from today. According to reports, the project will commence with a tree sapling plantation drive and raising of the tricolour.

The Ayodhya Mosque project was launched today with the unfurling of the national flag and a tree plantation drive, occasion of India s 72nd Republic Day, at Dhannipur village, 25km off Ramjanmabhoomi.
It is set to be built following the historic 2019 Supreme Court verdict that enabled the construction of a temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya and a mosque in the same district.

Ayodhya, Jan 26 : The process for starting the construction of a mosque in the Dhannipur village in Ayodhya began on Tuesday.
The members of the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF) that will oversee the mosque construction, unfurled the national flag on the occasion of Republic Day on Tuesday morning and this was followed by plantation of tree saplings by the chief trustee and the member trustees of the IICF.
As envisaged in the project, a green area, which will have plants from all over the world from the Amazon rainforest to areas in Australia that report bushfires and from all different geographical regions of India will be developed to create awareness on the imminent threat posed by climate change.
