Asif Ali, Musa shine as Islamabad United defeat Qalandars

Abu Dhabi [UAE], June 14 (ANI): Asif Ali slammed a brilliant half-century while Muhammad Musa picked three wickets as Islamabad United defeated Lahore Qalandars by 28 runs in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match on Sunday.
Qalandars, chasing 153, were rolled out for 124 with 10 balls to spare despite a solid start to their innings. The opening pair - Fakhar Zaman and Sohail Akhtar s 55-run partnership ended on the last ball of the powerplay when leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed trapped the latter in front of stumps.
Zeeshan Ashraf was run out five balls later after scoring just one but the run chase turned on its head in the 11th over when Musa dismissed Mohammad Hafeez with a short-pitched delivery.

Islamabad United s fast-bowler Hasan Ali has decided not to pull out of the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League s sixth edition, he announced it on Monday.
The player said that he is thankful to his wife for supporting him in times of crisis.
He was earlier supposed to fly back to Pakistan from Abu Dhabi due to some family issues but has now retracted the decision.
On Saturday evening, the franchise had announced that Hasan Ali would be pulling out of the remainders of PSL 6 due to family concerns.
Hasan Ali Takes a U-Turn on Decision to Leave PSL
After consultation with his family, key Islamabad United fast bowler, Hasan Ali, has decided to stay with his team in Abu Dhabi and continue to play the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six.
Earlier, Hasan was scheduled to take a flight back to Pakistan on the evening of June 13 due to a family issue back at home.

However, the fast bowler opted to stay with the franchise after his wife assured him that she would take care of the matter on his behalf.
“I was going through a personal family issue, which has been resolved thanks to my wonderful wife. She has assured me she will take care of it and wants me to concentrate on my cricket and my career. Hats off to such a wonderful partner.”
