New Data Shows Annual New Jersey-Israel Trade Valued at $1.33B and Economic Stability Despite a Turbulent Year On May 4, 2021
Following Israel’s 73rd Independence Day, the New Jersey-Israel Commission announced that the trade relationship between the Garden State and Israel is stronger than ever. Despite a challenging global economic situation, New Jersey’s trade relationship with the State of Israel continues to flourish and create opportunity for New Jerseyans across a broad array of industries supporting the State’s innovation economy.
Data from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and the New Jersey Business Action Center Office of Export Promotion show that New Jersey – Israel trade notably increased from 2019 to 2020 to record levels while the State maintained its strong position as a national leader attracting Israeli investments.

Tnuva and Rutgers Food Innovation Center to Collaborate By Debra Rubin | April 29, 2021
Tnuva, an Israeli global kosher food manufacturer with American headquarters in New Jersey, has launched an “exciting” collaboration with the Rutgers University Food Innovation Center (FIC). The announcement was made in partnership with the New Jersey-Israel Commission and the nonprofit economic development organization Choose New Jersey.
“Tnuva is one of Israel’s most exciting brands,” said New Jersey-Israel Commission Executive Director Andrew Gross about the company whose American headquarters is in Lincoln Park. “A large bulk of Israel trade is in food and food products, and that really emphasizes the importance of having a large Israeli food brand in New Jersey.”
