Share HCSO Executes Search Warrant, Makes Arrest The Hill County Sheriff s Office and the Collin County District Attorney s Office executed a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of a Whitney man Monday, January 25. According to the sheriff s office, authorities searched a recreational vehicle in the 100 block of Private Road 120 in Whitney after receiving information from another law enforcement agency that a suspect in the Whitney area was downloading and uploading videos containing child pornography on the internet. Investigators reportedly identified the suspect and retrieved electronics that, to date, have yielded over 300 images and videos containing child pornography. The suspect, 69-year-old David Wayne Sandlin, was charged with possession with intent to promote child pornography, a second-degree felony, and booked into the Hill County Law Enforcement Center with bond set at $1 million.
