Billboard chart record thanks to “Darkness Settles In,” the band’s latest single.
The track, a cut off the 2020 Death Punch album
F8, has hit number one on
Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Airplay ranking, giving
Ivan Moody and company seven straight leaders on the tally.
That streak, which dates back to the 2018 single “Sham Pain,” matches Disturbed‘s record-setting run of seven consecutive number-one Mainstream Rock singles, lasting from 2015’s “The Vengeful One” to 2019’s “No More.”

Baptize, the band’s upcoming album. The group describes “Catastrophe,” which you can download now via digital outlets, as an “apocalyptic love song.”
“We took a more imaginative approach to the feelings about that we as individuals and the rest of the planet were going through,” Atreyu says. “The world felt like it was falling apart around us. Nothing was certain, and stress and darkness were coming in from every angle. But living through it all with someone who you truly love somehow made it all okay.”
Baptize is due out June 4. It also includes the
