Three people are dead after a series of fatal shootings in San Francisco over the weekend.
The first was on a Friday evening. Shortly after 6:30 p.m., officers from the Ingleside police station responded to reports of a shooting at Vienna Street and Persia Avenue. There, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. After an investigation, police arrested a 17-year-old boy, who was admitted to the city s Juvenile Justice Center on suspicion of murder, according to police.

An arrest warrant was obtained for the juvenile on a charge of second-degree murder. He also had an active arrest warrant out of the Seventh District.

NEW ORLEANS New Orleans police arrested a 15-year-old for allegedly shooting and killing a 14-year-old last month.
NOPD said on April 19, at around 7:35 p.m., officers were called to the corner of Washington Avenue and LaSalle Street where they found a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. The 14-year-old was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries the next day.
The NOPD has arrested a 15-year-old male in the investigation of a homicide on April 19 at Washington Avenue and LaSalle Street, near the A.L. Davis playground that claimed the life of a 14-year-old boy.
At about 7:35 p.m. on April 19, NOPD Sixth District officers responded to the location and found a 14-year-old juvenile teen male having sustained a gunshot wound. The victim, Joel Nichols, was transported to a local hospital. On April 20, Joel died from his injuries.
Sixth District detectives positively identified the 15-year-old juvenile as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant on a charge of second-degree murder. Additionally, the juvenile was found to have active arrest warrants out of the Seventh District.
