Connecticut Brewers Guild reveals 4-point plan for dealing with sexual harassment

An Instagram post calling for people to share sexual harassment stories in the craft beer industry went viral last month, and now there s an effort in Connecticut to try and prevent future incidents.
The Connecticut Brewers Guild released a four-point plan this week for dealing with sexual harassment in partnership with the Pink Boots Society.
Local brewers say the problem won t really be solved until there s more women in the industry. Kat Michaud, a brewer at Nod Hill Brewing Company in Ridgefield, says while her own brewing family has always been supportive - she wasn t surprised to see thousands of allegations of sexual harassment surface across the country over the last month.
