The Hawks were led by talented import guard Tyler Harvey, who finished with a game-high 30 points (5/12 from long-range), eight rebounds, four assists and five steals to improve Illawarra to 18-15 for the season and strengthen their playoff ambitions, while the Breakers drop to 11-22. The Breakers were playing their fourth straight game on New Zealand soil and moved their home record to 2-2, after victories against Sydney Kings and Adelaide 36ers, while falling to the Kings and now the Hawks.

An explosive second quarter by Corey Webster has sparked the New Zealand Breakers to a 94-76 NBL win over the Adelaide 36ers in Christchurch. Tuesday night s match between the second-last Breakers and seventh-placed 36ers was the first of the season that didn t have an impact on the top four. But somebody forgot to tell the hosts, who came out firing in a rare home game. Corey Webster scored 22 points in the New Zealand Breakers NBL win over the Adelaide 36ers  Kai Schwoerer/Getty Images Webster was the spearhead, dropping 16 points in the second term to finish with 22 along with eight assists off the bench as the Breakers (11-21 record) extended their dominance over the Adelaide outfit (13-21).
