The oral and practical SPM examinations will be held a month earlier. The examinations were previously scheduled for the end of this year. Radzi expressed confidence that the ministry would be able to handle the delayed examinations, citing its experience with last year’s batch sitting for their SPM this year.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia has been selected to run a trial of a Chinese Covid-19 vaccine, the health ministry said today. The vaccine, produced by Shenzhen Kangtai Biological Products Co, was approved by China last month. Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the third phase of the clinical trial would be conducted at eight research centres nationwide. It will involve some 3,000 adults aged 18 years and above. The trial is expected to run between 15 and 19 months.

This was followed by Kelantan (695), Sarawak (654), Johor (489), Kedah (464), Kuala Lumpur (387), Melaka (352), Penang (328), Perak (255) Negeri Sembilan (253), Pahang (219), Sabah (207), Terengganu (204), Labuan (166), Putrajaya (28) and Perlis (12). I was keen to see how Malaysia is viewed by arguably the world’s foremost spy agency and by extension, the US government itself. Governments around the world do not take the CIA findings lightly.
