Jewish far-right groups told their followers prepare for a violent protest on Thursday night in Jerusalem, with the vehemently anti-assimilation group Lehava telling its supporters to gather at 10 P.M. for a march from Safra Square on Jaffa Road to Damascus Gate in the Old City, to “restore Jewish dignity.”
Hundreds of police officers were deployed across the Old City and central Jerusalem ahead of the rally, with police putting up road blocks near Nablus Gate to prevent the far-right activists from entering.

Activists from Free Jerusalem, an Israeli collective raising awareness around the occupation, prepare to start their daily solidarity walks through the East Jerusalem village of Issawiya; documenting the continuous Israeli police bombardment that has been plaguing the neighbourhood for the past six months.
