(WTVF) — Two people have been arrested in connection to a shooting on Interstate 24 in Rutherford County on Saturday. One of the men, 20-year-old Keyonn Warfield, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder. Additionally, he and 19-year-old Rizighallah Khemis are facing charges of conspiracy to commit attempted first-degree murder and unlawful possession of a weapon while committing a dangerous felony. Officials originally believed the shooting stemmed from road rage, but now say they believe it was a targeted shooting. Detective Capt. Britt Reed said she believes there was a connection between the suspects and the victim.

1 shot while trying to stop robbers inside Antioch Target, workers say

ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) Antioch police have arrested two men after they allegedly attempted to rob a Target pharmacy and shot a Good Samaritan trying to stop them. Authorities say officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Target on Lone Tree Way around 2 p.m. Wednesday. When officers arrived they found two suspects trying to drive away from the scene. Another officer located a man who had been shot at the entrance to the store. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A Target employee tells ABC7 that the good Samaritan was shot in the leg while trying to stop the robbers from getting away.
