GEORGE TOWN: Penang Gerakan has lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to investigate both the state government and Penang Island City Council (MBPP), over claims that a private company with no experience in handling livestock has been appointed as a new poultry supplier. Among all the other companies that could have been appointed, they chose a private company with no relevant experience in livestock slaughter and distribution to manage and maintain the RM11.11mil chicken storage and distribution centre in Batu Lanchang.
