RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. â A funeral service was held for Dexter Fergusson at Victory Tabernacle of Prayer in Riviera Beach.
Dexter, who was known by his nickname Peanut , was just 7 years old when he and his mother were shot inside their home on April 14. His mother survived the shooting.
Riviera Beach police are still looking for a suspect in that shooting. If you have information to contribute, please call Riviera Beach police at (561) 845-4123.

Rebels in northern Chad were preparing to advance on the capital N Djamena, a spokesperson said on Saturday, after the funeral of President Idriss Deby who died on the battlefield.
Deby s death on Monday, just after he won an election to extend his 30-year rule, shocked the Central African country which has long been a Western ally against Islamist militants.
A military council headed by Deby s son, Mahamat Idriss Deby, seized power after his death, saying it intends to oversee an 18-month transition to elections.

LSU student Kori Gauthier was declared missing in early April of 2021 when her abandoned car was found on the Mississippi River bridge, on April 14, a body found in the Mississippi River was identified as Gauthier.
OPELOUSAS - As communities across Louisiana continue to mourn the loss of 18-year-old Kori Gauthier, an LSU student who was confirmed dead on April 14, Gauthier s family is uniting to find closure and honor the beloved young woman s life.
A 10:30 a.m. funeral service will be held in Opelousas at Our Savior s Church.
