Logue wrote her first mystery when she was in sixth grade it was about a mysterious trail around a pond. She went on to write about mysterious trails around
Lake in her Claire Watkins mystery series, according to a Wadena County Historical Society news release.
Poetry, she says, is the foundation of her work and she has written four books of poetry. She has also published young adult novels and the Bloodwater series with Pete Hautman. Logue has also created a striking new heroine: a young Irish immigrant caught up in a deadly plot in nineteenth-century Deadwood,

The handblown glass works of Pequot Lakes artist Steven Weagel will be on display at the Crossing Arts Gallery in Brainerd. It will be on display from Friday, March 5-Friday, March 26, at the Crossing Arts Gallery in downtown Brainerd.
As an artist, Weagel sees his role in life as a creator of beauty, and implements that mindset whenever and wherever he can. With an abundance of negativity all around us, that beauty needs to shine, and Weagel s work does just that.

The Crossing Arts Alliance presents its newest exhibition “Light, Color, And The Northern Landscape,” by Steven Weagel.
The exhibit opens Friday, March 5, and will be on display through March 26 at the gallery in downtown Brainerd.
“Light, Color, And The Northern Landscape showcases Weagel s defined work using handblown glass pieces and metalwork. As an artist, Weagel sees his role in life as a creator of beauty, and implements that mindset whenever and wherever he can, it stated in a news release.
