IRON MOUNTAIN Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire early Tuesday morning on the 400 block of Vulcan Street in Iron Mountain.
A crew sent about 1:44 a.m. found the single-story residence engulfed in smoke, according to a news release from the Iron Mountain Fire Department.
The residents were outside when firefighters arrived and were taken to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for smoke inhalation.

IRON MOUNTAIN One person was injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision at the corner of West C Street and Kimberly Avenue.
Firefighters were called to the crash at 5:06 p.m., according to Iron Mountain Fire Department.
When the IMFD arrived, both vehicles were moved to the side of the road.
One driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The vehicles were towed from the scene by a wrecker.
Firefighters returned to the station at 5:29 p.m.
The IMFD was assisted by Integrity Care EMS and L.R. Vincent Towing.

IRON MOUNTAIN One person was injured Monday after a two-vehicle collision at the corner of North Stephenson Avenue and Industrial Park Drive in Iron Mountain.
Firefighters were called to the crash at 3:30 p.m., according to the Iron Mountain Fire Department.
The IMFD blocked the intersection and performed first aid until Integrity Care EMS transported the injured person to the hospital.
Firefighters cleaned fluids and cleared debris, returning to the station at 3:57 p.m.

An Iron Mountain firefighter hoses smoldering debris thrown from the attic of a home at 416 Stanton St. in Iron Mountain on Tuesday.
IRON MOUNTAIN There were no injuries Tuesday after a house fire at 416 Stanton St. in Iron Mountain.
“We are all safe,” homeowner Tarra Bjorkman told The Daily News. “Everyone is accounted for, including the animals.”
Firefighters were called to the smoking home just after 10 a.m., according to the Iron Mountain Fire Department.
The IMFD contained the fire to the attic, though there was extensive water damage to the front of the home. The fire is believed to have been caused by a faulty chimney.
