Iulia Vantur, who has been closely associated with Salman Khan for several years now, aptly describes him as ‘Being Human’, which is also the name of the actor’s charitable foundation. The actress-singer has lent her voice to ‘Seeti Maar’ for Salman’s upcoming release, ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. Speaking exclusively to ETimes, Iulia offer an insight into the actor’s professional side. Here s what she has to say:
“I feel he is kind, inspiring, and hardworking! I haven’t seen anyone working harder than he does. He doesn t take a break or a holiday. For him, life is work, and he enjoys work so much that he keeps telling everyone to find a job that makes them feel like they are on a holiday all the time, gushes Iulia. Till the 90s, it was very common for actors to work in multiple shifts and shoot for two, three and sometimes even four films in a day. Ask any yesteryear actor or 90s celebrity on this practice and they are bound to admit how they’d go from one set to another and most of the times, they’d be on an auto pilot mode. Actor Russell Tovey joined the Graham Norton Radio Show with Waitrose to talk about his popular podcast Talk Art, which he co-hosts with gallerist Robert Diament, and the associated book, which comes out next week.
Russell and Robert’s Talk Art podcast looks at the world of art through a series of interviews with leading artists, curators, and friends from the acting, music and journalism worlds. Russell told Graham that he and Robert have been friends for 12 years. “We met at a Tracey Emin retrospective in Edinburgh and we quickly developed a shorthand for art, and realised that we are both kindred spirits when it comes to being a geek for art.”
