From Glynn County: GLYNN COUNTY Ga, In a letter to Glynn County Manager Alan Ours dated January 7, 2021, Glynn County Police Chief Jay Wiggins announced his upcoming retirement from Glynn County. Chief Wiggins stated that he is retiring to explore other opportunities that have been made available to him. Chief Wiggins has served Glynn County in public safety for 31 years, beginning with the Glynn County Police Department, rising to the rank of Captain, then transitioning to the Glynn County Emergency Management Agency, before being appointed Chief of Police.
