Nia Jax Has Twitter Meltdown, Calls Out Tamina

Nia Jax, one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, went on tirade on Sunday, claiming that she’s “the black sheep/outcast” of her family and not Tamina. Jax tweeted, “I’m so sick of trying to be humble and hold my tongue. It really be your own family that is quick to stab you in the back. People may not know, but @TaminaSnuka is loved and respected by fans and most importantly by our family! I am the black sheep/outcast, the embarrassment.” In another tweet, Jax said she previously considered Tamina the only family member she could count on, but that was no longer the case.

The show opened with Vince McMahon and the WWE roster involved in both nights of the show welcoming fans back for the first time in a year. On the latest episode of WWE After the Bell, WWE commentator Corey Graves spoke about WrestleMania 37 and the differences from Saturday’s show to Sunday’s. Graves said being on commentary and experiencing Night One live was something different because of the first show with fans in over a year, but admitted that Night Two felt more like a traditional WrestleMania.

Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship won with 44 percent, edging out Roman Reigns vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Universal Championship with 43 percent. There was a big drop off to Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro in third place with nine percent of the vote.

The Infamous Stringdusters dobro player Andy Hall, banjoist Travis Book and guitarist Andy Falco got things underway with “Run To Heaven.” Falco sang lead on the tune which appears on The Dusters’ guest-filled 2016 album, Ladies & Gentleman, before the band dropped into a delightfully dark jam ahead of the song’s conclusion. The quintet then got into some cover material beginning with Hal Ketchum’s “Travelin’ Teardrop Blues” (also covered by Del McCoury) and JJ Cale’s “After Midnight,” which featured a “Travelin’ Teardrop” reprise.

As noted, Crews defeated Big E in a Nigerian Drum Fight to win the title during Night Two of WrestleMania 37. Crews got the win after Commander Azeez (fka Dabba-Kato, Babatunde Aiyegbusi) hit the ring and destroyed Big E. Commander Azeez is the same name that WWE filed to trademark shortly before WrestleMania 37.
