WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCSC) - The Blood Connection says they will be holding a blood drive in Colleton County at the beginning of the week.
The blood drive is set to run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at 1118 Thunderbolt Drive in Walterboro. Organizers say it will be co-hosted by Colleton County Fire-Rescue
Announcements for Thursday, April 15:
Onslow County has received new positive cases of COVID-19 as of April 12. Positive cases now total 15,916 with 142 deaths and 15,535 cleared. Onslow County is at 4.9% positive, while the state is at 6.9% positive.
Onslow County will cease operation of the mass clinic sites at the county’s multipurpose building and Onslow County Government Center by May 1. Vaccinations will continue to be offered by the county, but only at Onslow County Health Department, 612 College Street. Walk-in and appointment services will be offered during normal work hours. JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) - The Blood Connection says they will be hosting a blood drive on James Island.
The Town of James Island is co-sponsoring the event which they say is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Organizers say the drive will be held at 1122 Dills Bluff Road on James Island.
Healthcare workers will be ready to draw blood from donors, but people must make an appointment first.
