Eastern Conference play-in
The Boston Celtics captured the No. 7 seed with a 118-100 win over the Washington Wizards. The Celtics will face the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
The Indiana Pacers defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 144-117, to advance to Game 2 of the play-in, where they will face the Wizards in Washington, D.C., on Thursday night with the No. 8 seed at stake (8 ET, TNT). The Hornets were eliminated.
