Dawn, who is a neighbour of Brett’s parents, completed the London Marathon in tribute to him – and put her own special twist on the fundraiser. Because of Covid-19, the traditional April marathon could not take place in 2020, but runners were instead encouraged to complete the 26.2 mile distance of the run however they liked on October 4, 2020. Here, the 49-year-old mum of three explains the reason behind her challenge and what it was like on the day.
