ABU Fake Certificate Saga: Registry Workers Ask Management To Investigate Alleged Forged Result Of Graduate
The workers urged the National Youth Service Corps to investigate the matter, adding that the said female student had already registered and obtained her NYSC call-up letter.

Some top members of staff at the Registry, Academic Planning and Monitoring Unit of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State have said the Bachelor of Science in Physics, Second-Class Upper Division certificate, issued to one Shafaatu Abdullahi from the institution is fake.
Speaking to SaharaReporters, one of them claimed Abdullahi with Registration No: U15/PY/2014 was fraudulently issued a certificate by a syndicate four years after she was withdrawn from the university for poor performance.

The University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) has held its fifth congregation ceremony to award degrees and diplomas to a total of 1,347 graduands who had successfully completed different programmes of studies.
Statistically, 344 graduands, comprising 177 males, that represented 51 per cent and 167 females which is 49 per cent graduated with diploma, and out of that 102 had distinction and 242 got passes.
At the undergraduate level, there were 709 male graduands, representing 72 per cent whilst 277 constituted females, representing 38 per cent.
On performance, 33 graduated with First Class honours, 166 with Second Class (Upper Division), 349 with Second Class (Lower Division), seven had passes and 69 had Third Class honours.

SaharaReporters learnt that one of a number of aggrieved workers attached to the Directorate of Academic Planning, Monitoring and Registry wrote an anonymous letter to the ABU Vice-Chancellor, Prof Kabir Bala, asking him to investigate the syndicate which was soiling the reputation of the university.
