Despite the attacks by the NDC on Dr Bawumia, he proved to be key in the victory of the New Patriotic Party in the 2016 general elections. Following the NDC’s loss, Mr Anyidoho in an interview on December 30, 2016, said Mr Bawumia despite his eminent elevation to the position of Vice President in his eyes still remains a liar.
