Second Helpings Stamford volunteers prepare to serve more than 200 Christmas meals Published: 12:00, 18 December 2020
Volunteers are preparing to serve up a big helping of Christmas spirit with more than 200 free dinners.
The team at Second Helpings were determined not to let Covid-19 stand in the way of their Christmas traditions.
Although guests wonât be able to meet in person, the team are still cooking up takeaway dinners for those in need.

Alison and Danilo Trozzi, from Just So Italian in Stamford, will be cooking the turkeys with help from the regular Second Helpings cooks.
Volunteer Viv Middlebrook is helping to co-ordinate the project. She will be in the kitchen on Wednesday for the first day of preparations and may also help out with deliveries on Christmas Day.
