Kwemo, 25, played 17 games in Double Blue during the 2019 season, recording 13 defensive tackles and 16 special teams tackles, third most on the team. The 6’3, 235-pound linebacker was a second-round draft choice of the Argos in 2018 and tallied 15 special teams tackles in 11 games during his rookie season. The Montreal native played 28 games over four seasons at Queen’s University and registered 149 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, three interceptions and two forced fumbles for the Golden Gaels. Kwemo was named First Team All-Canadian in his final year at Queen’s.

Charlotte, N.C. Three North Carolina high school football players have signed their National Letter of Intent to attend and play football for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Tyson Clawson of Independence High School in Charlotte, Isaiah Potts of Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville, and Chavion Smith of Statesville High School all signed with the 49ers during National Signing Day yesterday.
Clawson, a defensive end, stands at 6 feet tall and weighs 209 pounds. He is a 3-star prospect according to ESPN and the 247Sports Composite. A two-year varsity player heading into the spring high school season, Clawson has achieved an impressive 135 career tackles (85 as a junior), 34 tackles for a loss (18.0 as a junior), 23.5 sacks over last two years (13.5 as a sophomore; 10.0 as a junior), two forced fumbles, two blocked kicks, and an interception. Former Lady Roadrunner Brewer Leaving Mark In Pros Overseas
Former State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners basketball standout Maya Brewer is playing professionally in Engomi,
Cyprus for ETHA Engomis in Cypriot Division A. Brewer was named the Player of the Week when she posted a double-double with 33 points and 12 rebounds in round five.
Brewer has played in every game her rookie season, averaging a team-high 24.7 points and 10 rebounds per game. Brewer is shooting 80.4 percent of her free-throw attempts.
While at SFCC, the Kansas City, Missouri native was named to the All-Region 16 Second-Team as a freshman in 2017.
She followed that up earning All-Region 16 First-Team honors as a sophomore. As a Lady Roadrunner, Brewer was a two-time Second-Team All-Conference selection in the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference.
