Two men arrived at an area hospital around 10:35 p.m. after being shot near the intersection of Florida and Saint Maurice avenues, according to NOPD. Police say one man died at the hospital. The shooting happened just after 4:30 p.m. near 62nd Street and Elmwood Avenue.
Police say a 20-year-old man was shot in the head and killed. The second victim, a 33-year-old man, was shot in the stomach.
Both victims were taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, officials say. The 33-year-old man, whose identity remains unknown, remains listed in critical condition.
There is no word yet on any possible arrest or what the motive may have been, officials say.

(BALTIMORE, MD) Police arrested and charged a 13-year-old boy with murder and attempted murder after a double shooting in south Baltimore.
Police say 40-year-old Chad Michael Jordan of Jefferson, PA was killed and a 26-year-old man was wounded.
According to detectives, the victims were in the area to buy illegal guns when the teen attempted to rob them at gunpoint.
