Summer Game Fest returns this June with world premieres, announcements, and more

Summer Game Fest, the all-digital games festival that spawned in 2020 to fill the gaps left by canceled events like E3, is returning this year featuring content from over 30 partners from the gaming space. Xbox, 2K, Blizzard, SEGA, Steam, Ubisoft, and many more are slated to provide updates during the festivities.
The Geoff Keighley-curated ongoing event will open its doors on June 10 at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET/ 6 pm GMT with a special Kick Off Live! broadcast. The original program will feature over a dozen world premieres, announcements, and also offer a preview of other solo publisher events coming later.

Xbox Game Pass Adds Classic PS2 Games

Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC have added four new games, including two that can trace their origins back to the PS2. And unlike some weeks, all four games have been added to all versions of the pair of subscription services. So, whether you re on PC or console, you have four new games to download, play, and enjoy.
The first of these four games is
Psychonauts, a platformer from 2005 and Double Fine Productions. At the time of its release, the game was available via the PC, PS2, and the original Xbox. It s since been made playable on additional platforms, including modern ones. And the IP is now owned by Microsoft after its acquisition of Double Fine Productions, which means this should be a permanent addition to the Xbox Game Pass library.
PlayStation Studios Has 25 Games in the Works, Plenty of New Worlds May 12, 2021
In a recent talk with WIRED Magazine, PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst revealed that Sony’s internal group of studios (known collectively as PlayStation Studios) has over 25 PlayStation 5 titles in development, half of which involve worlds players have never seen before.
