HOUGHTON Principal Cole Klein on Friday said the school is working diligently to find ways to increase ease of communications, increase access to support and resources, and decrease overall stress and anxiety that is inadvertently being generated with current learning conditions.
“We are aware of the many concerns felt by parents, students, and staff and are actively working to continue to improve conditions for all,” he said in a Friday email.
Beginning Monday, the high school will implement a “Rolling Snow Day,” through which each day of the week will have a different department giving students a day off from new content and assignments. Instead, teachers will make themselves available for individual or group review/catch-up/clarification on missing assignments.
