Local restaurant owners step up to help Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign
The owners of two local businesses have stepped up to help the Herkimer Salvation Army raise funds during the annual Red Kettle Campaign this holiday season.

HERKIMER, N.Y. – The owners of two local businesses have stepped up to help the Herkimer Salvation Army raise funds during the annual Red Kettle Campaign this holiday season.
The Salvation Army has only raised 18% of its $35,000 goal this year, and is 65% behind where donations were at this time last year. The lack of donations is attributed mostly to the coronavirus pandemic, which has left many families strapped for cash and left the Salvation Army without as many volunteers this year.
