In Australia, lockdown will end at 6pm local time today for parts of Queensland, but has been extended for Brisbane and Moreton Bay, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says.

The decision comes after another three cases of community transmission were recorded in the state.
The three-day lockdown will end this evening for the Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Gold Coast, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim, Somerset and Townsville.
Lockdown will continue until at least tomorrow for the Brisbane City Council and the Moreton Bay regions.

Townsville and all of southeast Queensland, except for Brisbane and Moreton Bay, will be released from lockdown as authorities seven COVID-19 outbreaks.
Brisbane and Moreton Bay will remain locked down for another 24 hours after three new locally-acquired cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the region.
Southeast Queensland and Townsville have been in lockdown for three days to help authorities trace and contain seven separate virus clusters.
The state government is confident all but one outbreak in Brisbane is under control, so lockdown will end in Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Gold Coast, the Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley, Somerset and Townsville at 6pm on Friday.

Lockdown extended for Brisbane and Moreton Bay regions
Due to the detection of new community cases overnight, lockdown will be extended for the Local Government Areas of Brisbane and Moreton Bay for another 24 hours until 6pm, Saturday 3 July 2021.
The situation will continue to be monitored and an update will be provided tomorrow.
The lockdown will end at 6pm today, 2 July 2021, for the Local Government Areas of Gold Coast, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Logan, Noosa, Redlands, Scenic Rim, Somerset, Sunshine Coast, Townsville (including Magnetic Island) and Palm Island Aboriginal Shire, however restrictions will continue to apply for another two weeks including mask wearing.
