Words Without Borders Receives 2021 National Endowment for the Arts Grant
New York, New York, February 4, 2021 The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has just announced that it will distribute more than $25 million in support of 1,073 arts and cultural organizations nationwide. Words Without Borders is honored to be named one of the NEA’s 2021 grantees. WWB will receive an Art Works award to fund the publication of its monthly magazine, its education programs through WWB Campus, and its free virtual literary events.
The Art Works funding category supports projects that focus on public engagement with, and access to, various forms of art across the nation; the creation of art that meets the highest standards of excellence; learning in the arts at all stages of life; and the integration of the arts into the fabric of community life.
