Mon, Dec 21, 2020, 10:02 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka. Dec 21, Colombo: Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Pakistan vice admiral Mohan Wijewickrema on Monday has called on Pakistan Navy chief Admiral Amjad Niazi at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.
According to the Navy’s Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR), the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and promotion of bilateral cooperation in maritime domain.
“Both the dignitaries discussed matters related to mutual interests, regional security and bilateral collaborations,” DGPR said in a social media post.
The visit comes a day after Wijewickrama, while addressing members of the business community, during his visit to Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), observed the two countries shared deep historical, cultural and trade ties, Pakistan Today reported.
