Almost £2,500 donated to 'From Brid with Love' Covid vaccines campaign

Rev Rich Townend. Photo submitted The ‘From Brid with Love’ campaign was set up by Red Rich Townend from Emmanuel Church. It encourages people from the town to show their gratitude for the vaccination rollout by paying for the world’s poor to receive their jabs. Rev Townend started the campaign because he believes that the jabs should be available to all regardless of where they live. Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, helps vaccinate almost half the world’s children against deadly and debilitating infectious diseases. The Alliance is currently working with countries to support Covid-19 response and to maintain and restore routine immunisation while co-leading global efforts on equitable access to coronavirus vaccines.
