Edward-Elmhurst Health Installs Carestream s New, Scalable DRX-Compass for Orthopaedic Practice
December 15, 2020 Edward-Elmhurst Health has installed the first DRX-Compass X-ray system in the nation to support its orthopaedic providers, deploying Carestream’s newest, fully digital diagnostic imaging system at its Edward Hospital in Naperville, Ill. The system is designed to support mid-tier hospitals and medical imaging centers worldwide, and offers a flexible and scalable approach to digital imaging, while increasing workflow efficiency and reducing costs.
“We have a new orthopaedic practice as part of our medical group at the hospital, and they’re very eager to use this specific new technology,” said Ryan Garland, System Director for Radiology/Imaging Services at Edward-Elmhurst Health.
Krystle Glasgow named Fellow of SNMMI Technologist Section Details
Krystle Glasgow, CNMT, NMTCB(CT), NMAA, a teacher in the UAB School of Health Professions, has been recognized as a Fellow by the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging – Technologist Section. She is one of only three in the state of Alabama to earn the prestigious honor.
The SNMMI-TS selects Fellows based on exemplary contributions in the following areas: participation in professional activities, education, professional experience, professional contributions, and civic activities.
