The kick caused the man to go crashing to the ground as the scooter fled south into the Upper Manhattan neighborhood. The attack happened on May 16 at 3:45 p.m. in front of 120 Cabrini Boulevard, according to police. The 63-year-old took himself to the hospital for cuts to his knees and hands, police said.
