HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Police busted a major international Human Trafficking racket. The four accused were allegedly trafficking people to Gulf Countries and gave them fake permits to illegally work in those countries.
Workers from India, both men and women were sent off to foreign countries. They are misled with promises of high pay. These people had to work for long hours but didn t get paid enough.
The special operations Team of the LB Nagar Police carried the raid on Tuesday evening. They busted Al-Hayath Tours and Travels at Malakpet and took four accused into custody. The police were able to get a tip of this ongoing racket, when the accused were planning to send a woman to Oman on a fake work permit.

HYDERABAD: Y S Sharmila, the sister of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Tuesday expressed her political interest in Telangana, saying that she will work to get golden rule of her father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy back in the state.
While interacting with media after meeting with followers of her father from Nalgonda district, Sharmila said there was a positive response from the leaders and she wanted to work in Telangana.
However, she did not clearly clarify if she was planning to float a new party.

HYDERABAD: Ending speculation over elevation of Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao as chief minister, his father and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao said on Sunday that he would continue in the post for the next 10 years.
Warning ministers and MLAs against speaking about possible change of guard in Telangana, KCR said he would throw out leaders (from the party) who say KTR would assume charge as the new CM and create confusion.
“I am all right and will continue to be CM for next 10 years. If there is any change, I will take you (MLAs and other elected representatives) into confidence and inform you. But some people have crossed the party’s discipline and gave statements on possible change of CM,” KCR told elected representatives and party leaders at the party’s executive committee meeting.
Located adjacent to Waverock (special economic zone), the twin towers with 44 floors each are coming on 5.5 acre land.
HYDERABAD: Hyderabad’s skyline is all set to change with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) approving what will be the city’s tallest skyscraper thus far. Officials gave the nod to Sumadhura Group’s 44-storey residential apartment in the Financial District at Nanakramguda. The new structure will be 153 metres (501 feet) tall. Until now, the tallest building in the city had 42 floors.
Sources in GHMC told TOI that this is only the tip of the iceberg. Two applications by builders to construct 55-storey high-rises in Pupalaguda and Narsingi near the IT corridor were put on hold by Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) officials recently. Sources said the authorities want to be doubly sure that such tall structures don’t lead to more traffic chaos in the already congested part of the city.
